Tulips really are beautiful flowers! We planted 2500 this. Most people leave tulips in the ground to come up for the next several years. But did you know that most flower farmers pull their tulips at mature bud stage by the bulb. This allows us to put the tulips with bulb on in the cooler and keep them in a holding stage for several weeks. When we get them out, cut the bulb off and warm them up, the bud will proceed to open and give you a long lasting cut flower to enjoy! Tulips can also grow several inches in the vase. It is really amazing to watch the process! So to go along with smelling the roses, take time to really see a tulip next time you are around one! ❤️❤️
