Cool flowers in our zone are typically planted in the fall, develop roots, stay somewhat static through the dead of winter and are first to bloom in the Spring. However, we have had a warm winter so far so the plants have grown. Now it’s supposed to be a low in the teens several night next week. This calls for leaf mulch and double row covers. And I hope they will stay in place with all the high winds predicted! Getting to work to get this all done!
